In memoriam of our departed friend and colleague, Hunter Martinez, who impacted the lives of many with his upbeat and generous spirit. Hunter is survived by his loving wife, Jessica, and their daughter, Harper.
Hunter grew up in Fort Worth, Texas. After high school, Hunter moved to Colorado as fast as he could and attended the University of Denver, where he received his undergraduate degree in 2010 and his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2013. During law school, Hunter held various internships including at a boutique natural resources law firm and the Colorado Oil Gas Conservation Commission. Prior to joining Tyson Gurney & Davis, LLC, Hunter was a judicial fellow for the Honorable Michael A. Martinez in the 2nd Judicial Court of Colorado for the City and County of Denver and a landman at a prominent land services company. During his time as a landman, Hunter worked on title, acquisition due diligence, and leasing projects in Colorado, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Utah, and Texas.
